Our Volunteer Development Programme will launch in 2020 and be led by Amy Pullin, Volunteer Coordinator.
The programme will be a series of weeks that will offer and support Employability Skills and Volunteer Training through areas within our Menphys Hub. Amy our Volunteer Coordinator will support and guide each trainee through their programme to upskill and improve employment pathways.
The Volunteer Development Programme is for 16years + who are Not in Education, Employment or Training who have Special Educational Needs and/or Disabilities.
The programme structure will include an introduction and team building sessions, Employability Skills Training – finding that job, applying, building a CV portfolio and preparing for the Volunteering Training. Our Trainees will then gain the relevant training and experience within our Library, Coffee Shop and Charity Shop at the Menphys Hub. Following the volunteer training, we’ll prepare for interviews, look at some Hero inspiration and close with each Trainee leaving with a portfolio of the programme and certificate of completion. Menphys will lead to an annual celebration of achievement for all Trainees who have successfully progressed and developed through the programme.
