The calming and therapeutic room has a range of sensory based equipment and resources for children, young people and adults with additional needs and disabilities.
The Sensory Room offers a space with special lighting, optional music, mirroring and multi-sensory objects, such as bubble tubing.
Sensory equipment can positively promote vocalisation, motor skills, colour recognition, self-regulation and de-escalation strategies in a safe environment.
