It is with sadness that we share the news that our Patron has passed away.
Her Grace, Francis, Dowager Duchess of Rutland, was a long standing supporter of Menphys and our Patron.
She was instrumental in helping Menphys raise the necessary funds to build and operate our original nurseries – as well as the broader work of the charity.
Her Grace was a keen supporter and guest at the annual carol concerts, and hosted a number of fundraising events in aid of Menphys at Belvoir Castle.
Chairman, Ian Knight, said: “Her generosity and commitment provided immeasurable support over the years.
“Everyone at Menphys extends our condolences to the Manners family at this sad and difficult time.”
Her Grace died on the 21st January after a long illness.
