For those needing more in-depth help, we offer affordable one-to-one appointments with trained advisors who bring professional expertise and lived experience. From navigating EHCPs and appeals to securing benefits and planning long-term support, we listen, guide, and stand beside families every step of the way — helping them feel more confident, informed and in control of their journey.
Community Support
Ask Me Anything – Weekly SEND Law Drop-In (free)
Every Tuesday from 9am to 12pm, families are welcome to join us at the Menphys Hub for free, informal drop-in sessions with a member of our SEND law-trained team.
These sessions provide a safe and supportive space to ask questions, understand your rights, and talk through any concerns relating to your child’s education, care, or wellbeing. Whether you’re new to SEND support or facing a specific challenge, you’ll receive clear, reliable information from someone who understands the system.
What we cover:
- Understanding the SEND Code of Practice and EHCPs
- Navigating school and local authority responsibilities
- Communicating effectively with education professionals
- Accessing the right support for your child
Individual Support (Prices from £20)
For families needing more focused support, we offer personalised one-to-one sessions with our experienced family advisors. These appointments are designed to provide deeper assistance with complex needs and individualised planning.
Areas we support:
- Help with DLA or PIP applications and transitions
- EHCP support including preparation, reviews, tribunals and appeals
- Finding the right educational setting
- Preparing for meetings with schools or local authorities
- Guidance on building long-term support plans
These sessions are delivered by specialists with in-depth knowledge of SEND law and lived family experience. We take time to understand each family’s unique journey and tailor our support to meet their needs. With clear advice, practical strategies, and the reassurance of someone by your side, families leave feeling more prepared, empowered, and hopeful.
