Menphys is a charity which supports children, young people with disabilities and their families in Leicester and Leicestershire. Our mission is to deliver a quality service that values the views and enables their voices.

Purpose of the Role:

To be the first port of call for visitors to the Menphys Hub, in person and via the telephone.
To undertake administration for all departments within Menphys, to carry out Library duties, and to manage the room hire and diary processes.
To cover the coffee shop as required.
Full training in all areas is provided.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Deliver and maintain a high level of customer service to all Hub visitors
• To answer all incoming calls and direct them appropriately
• To comply with Health & Safety legislation, including security of the building and fire alarm testing
• Follow, adopt, and demonstrate Menphys Values
• To manage the room hire and diary processes
• To assist all departments with admin and manage the post requirements
• Working with the Community Managed Library Support Service to maintain high standards of operating procedures
• To manage photocopying and printing for external customers
• To ensure housekeeping is to Menphys standards
• To help out in the Coffee shop if and when required
• Input purchase invoices onto Sage, after training
• To carry out any other duties deemed appropriate by the line manager

Personal Skills:

• Excellent communication skills
• Be competent in Microsoft Software (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Be able to use the Library system, finance system and database after training
• Be able to work within a team
