We’re thrilled to announce the return of the Menphys Sports Club – and this time, it comes with an exciting twist!

On Monday 18th August 2025, join us for a full day of cricket and inspiration, beginning with our first-ever Menphys Charity Cricket Match at Grace Road, followed by an evening of food, networking, and insight with our guest speaker, Jeremy Snape – former England cricketer and accomplished county all-rounder, widely recognised for his skill with both bat and ball during a distinguished career.

Jeremy is not only a former international cricketer but also a highly regarded coach and the founder of Sporting Edge, a high-performance consultancy and digital platform that helps ambitious leaders and teams develop a winning mindset.

His cricket journey began at just 16 with Northamptonshire County Cricket Club before moving to Gloucestershire, where he played a key role in a team that won five trophies in three years. Known for his innovative slow spin bowling and determined batting, Jeremy made his England debut in 2001 and went on to earn 11 international caps.

Jeremy’s passion for the psychology of performance was ignited during a One Day International in India, played in front of a crowd of 120,000. He later captained Leicestershire County Cricket Club, leading them to two T20 championships in 2004 and 2006.

After completing an MSc in Sports Psychology at Loughborough University, Jeremy transitioned from elite player to elite coach. His coaching career includes working with Shane Warne’s victorious IPL team, the South African national side (during their rise to world number one), England Rugby, and a leading Formula 1 team. He also serves as a non-executive director of the Football League Managers Association.

Through his project Inside the Mind of Champions®, Jeremy has interviewed hundreds of top performers – from elite athletes and neuroscientists to military leaders and CEOs – translating their insights into practical tools to accelerate performance.

The Menphys Charity Cricket Match – 4:00pm at Grace Road

New for 2025, we’re excited to introduce the Menphys Charity Cricket Match, taking place on the same day as our Sports Club event – and we’re inviting you to play!

For £120 inc. VAT, you’ll receive:

• A playing spot in the Menphys Charity Team, taking on Ratby Town Cricket Club
• The chance to play at the iconic Leicestershire County Cricket Ground, Grace Road
• Your evening ticket included, giving you access to dinner and the guest speaker event

Please note: This is a competitive fixture. Participants should have prior cricketing experience and be confident in a match setting.
