Robert Martin appointed as Menphys CEO

With a background as a dedicated learning disability nurse and extensive experience in the children’s disability sector, Robert has made a significant impact by leading the Leicestershire SEND Hub. Throughout his career, he has worked closely with local authorities, the NHS, and the Department for Education to champion improvements in the SEND system for children. His passion for advocacy has even led him to serve as a member of the Autism Commission in Parliament.

Robert is no stranger to Menphys—he has been a pivotal part of our community for years, serving as the Chair of Governors for Menphys nurseries and as a trusted Menphys trustee. As a father to Arthur, who has benefited from Menphys services since birth, Robert brings not only his professional expertise but also a deeply personal connection to our mission.

His appointment marks an exciting new chapter for Menphys, as we continue to advance the cause of improving the lives of disabled children and their families.
